Appraisal Certificate

I will provide you with a detailed appraisal certificate that can be either directly mailed/posted or e-mailed to you quickly and efficiently.

This will contain a full description of your item including a statement of its current market value in both $US dollars or $Sterling.  If you want me to use another currency - no problem - just let me know - take a look below for an example of my appraisal certificate.

Multiple items?

If you have multiple items to be appraised, please contact me at sales@antiqueswordsonline.com and I will quote you a specific price for a combined appraisal.

Customer photographs

My intention is to provide you with an accurate appraisal and to do this I need to view a selection of photographs of the item(s) to be appraised.  Please e-mail your photographs to me at sales@antiqueswordsonline.com.

Good photographs

I have included some full colour examples of the kind of camera shots that are needed in order to provide an accurate appraisal of your item(s).  I suggest that you use the highest quality setting on your camera and photograph the item(s) in plenty of natural light or with a clear and defined background.  Here they are:

Markings and Decoration

Look out for and photograph any markings or decoration to the sword, particularly regimental motifs, names and maker or inspection marks.  Make sure that you take shots of these as they can have an important bearing on the value of a sword.  Please also include shots of any damage or repairs made to the sword.

Looking forward to hearing from you

Please feel free to contact me at any time with your queries and I will get back to you promptly.  I look forward to appraising your swords!
